What is a spiritual awakening?
A spiritual awakening is when one surrenders and opens themselves up to God/Divinity. This isn't pertained to one specific religion, it is more on a spiritual level than a religious one. One is self aware of what is going on around them. As you become Self Aware of yourself you will feel as One with your soul and God. You will become happier and joyful for you are being awakened to remember who you truly are. Your Soul is remembering what it once was. Everything around you changes your perspective of life. You will become forever changed with this experience. For some this experience can become overwhelming, but with support and positive energy you can overcome what is happening to you. It can take months or years to overcome the changing that you are going through, but have no fear for you are remembering Your True Self. A person can go through an awakening due to certain factors such as, out of body experience, loss, profound spiritual experience, a near death experience, or even your own death which God brings you back and your soul made the decision to come back for a specific purpose.
